I have always seen the beauty in things, especially women. My career as a make up artist began at a very young age. The local pharmacy i worked in , carried Lancome cosmetics. I worked there for four years and then went to school for my full cosmetology license at Capri Institute and ended up working in a salon for many years as a hairdresser. Missing my days as a makeup artist i went to work for Estee Lauder, where i eventually became counter manager and worked for them for 5 years.
I would say my formal training as a makeup artist started with my first job at MAC cosmetics. I started out as a makeup artist and eventually worked my way up to Retail Manager . I opened their bloomingdales bridgewater location then went on to open their Macys Menlo Park store . My work at MAC introduced me to many different types of clients; from brides to prom goers and as far as , cancer and HIV patients. I feel a huge sense of satisfaction and accomplishment in helping women look their best even when they did not feel their best. I have worked for MAC for the past 15 years and continue to remain committed to the vision , of seeing the beauty in everyone.. I will listen to all your ideas and concerns and make your look come to fruition. I truly enjoy getting to know each of my clients and learning how to make each one of them feel beautiful.. I am continually researching products and techniques; staying current with trends and perhaps throwing out the trends that don’t work ;)
You can be assured that I have tested every product in my kit and I can say with confidence how it will wear for your event and I also have green options.
